OrderTrace is local-first. The extension reads only the order pages you're already logged into, and stores everything in your own browser. Here's exactly how it works.
What we read
Only your order-history pages on Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto and Amazon — and only while you're signed in and using the extension. We never see your passwords.
Where data lives
In your browser's local storage on your device. The Free tier never sends your orders anywhere.
Cloud sync (Pro, opt-in)
If you enable Pro cloud sync, order details are encrypted on your device before upload, so our servers store ciphertext — not your itemised orders.
Google Sheets / backups
Optional and user-initiated. Sheets sync uses your own Google account; local backups download to your machine.
No ads, no selling data
We don't show ads and we don't sell or share your data. Pro subscriptions fund the product.
Deletion
Delete any order, or wipe everything, anytime. Account deletion removes synced data on our side too.
